While movies are caricatures of reality, Deewane Huye Paagal's story line is absolutely assinine. The heroine Rimi Sen has zero screen presence while the antics of the remaining dramatis personae - particularly Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal - provide solid evidence of man's simian ancestry. So horrible is this vile trash masquerading as comedy.
If we did not love Bollywood movies so much, Deewane Huye Paagal would have put us off all films forever.
